The health needs of Lesotho are huge – with 23% of the population living with HIV/AIDS, TB rates are very high with increasing multi-resistant strains and there is a growing public health risk with diabetes. With such statistics Dolen Cymru’s health work can really make a difference.
Mental Health training (WHO mhGAP) with family doctors in Leribe
Working with the support of the Ministry of Health our work has encompassed mental health training (mhGap) and working with partners in Wales to deliver midwifery training and support, emergency care training and reciprocal visits.
